The IDF is too small a force to be wasted on controliing hostile populations but is effective in destroying organized enemy forces so I think it suits Netayayahu to use Obama as a foil while retaining the full un fettered power of the IDF w/o having to police the Arab populations of the west bank?Isreal’s security depends on the combat effectiveness of the IDF, heavy duty policing of hostile Arabs will blunt this force and weaken Isreal more that it benefits it I think? I am a “ZION” ist in the sense that I believe that Israel is Gods land. I am a spiritual type, NOT religious- There have always been Jews there, Christians and some Philistians.
BUT- I also believe that non -Jews who decide to follow the Holy Bible have the same promises of the Bible.
