The AK-47 (contraction of Russian: Автомат Калашникова образца 1947 года; Avtomat Kalashnikova obraztsa 1947 goda; “Kalashnikov’s automatic rifle model of year 1947″) is a 7.62 mm assault rifle developed in the Soviet Union by Mikhail Kalashnikov in two versions: the fixed stock AK-47 and the AKS-47 (S—So skladnym prikladom) variant equipped with an underfolding metal shoulder stock. Design work on the AK began in 1944. In 1946 the rifle was presented for official military trials, a year later the fixed stock version was introduced into service with select units of the Red Army (the folding stock model was developed later). The AK-47 was officially accepted by the Soviet Armed Forces in 1949. It is also used by the majority of the member states of the former Warsaw Pact. The AK-47 was also used as a basis for the development of countless many other types of individual and crew-served firearms.
It was one of the first true assault rifles and, due to its durability and ease of use, remains the most widely used assault rifle in the world. More AK-type rifles have been produced than any other assault rifle.[2][3]

OK. Seriously? Picture 4 is NOT an AK-47. It is an AK-74. HOW could you possibly make this mistake? Whoever make this website and article needs to kill themselves. AK-47 is VERY famous, yes. AK-74? Not so famous. Don’t try to take advantage of that. The magazine, front end, and flash hider are OBVIOUS of an AK-74. Whoever made this article is a NOOB. End of story.
Look again, that is not an AK-74, it’s an AK-103. Basically, it is an upgraded version of the AKM which is an upgraded version of the AK-47. They all fire the same caliber (7.62×39) while the AK-74 does not. True, it does have some of the features of the AK-74 (like the muzzle brake) but those are now almost standard for Kalashnikovs’ since the advent of the ’74. End of “End of story”…NOOB.
Your probably right, if I re post this I’ll attempt to show only AK 47′s except maybe in the picture of Mikhail Kalashnikov ?
That pic is there because it was a good one of Mikhail Kalashnikov. I thought about killing myself but I lacked a real ritual sword and refused to use a kitchen knife?? Ha Ha!!
