Pink Floyd – Don’t Leave Me Now

A Passing Phase (2008)
The Wall 5/12

Ooooo babe,
Dont leave me now.
Dont say its the end of the road.
Remember the flowers I sent.
I need you, babe,
To put through the shredder in front of my friends.
Oh babe,
Dont leave me now.
How could you go?
When you know how I need you,
To beat to a pulp on a saturday night.
Oh babe,
Dont leave me now.
How can you treat me this way?
Running away.
Oh babe,
Why are you running away?

The pics are album and movie art from the Wall. The movie theme of the song is basically the unhappiness of the Artist (the lyricist), being unhappy and unfulfilled running all over the country (or the world) on a concert tour while his true love gives up on him for a “stable” “Greenpeace” type??? Watch the movie it’s good!!! Also, there are distinct lessons and historical analogies to Demagoguery and Fascism in the film hence the use of Triumph of the Will as a warning to the world, it happened once, it can happen again?? Again watch the film, Hitler and Triumph of the Will do not appear in the film, but someone distinctly similar does so the usage of the real clips of Hitler do fit in with the movie and album theme….
